KMS season example · Ended · About these guides
Archived KMS Season 4 Hard Meirin gear plan. The season and reward deadlines have ended. Its levels, fragments, prices, and damage figures are examples, not verified minimum-clear requirements.
Challenger/Super Challenger required 90,000 points and a Hard Meirin solo clear, with world-specific ranks. The Sol Janus level-20 enhancement ticket followed its own use conditions and is no longer claimable.
Why the source targeted level 285
Meirin entry required level 280. Level 285 was the source's preparation recommendation, not an official minimum for a clear.
-
Level-difference damage effects: The source claims roughly 10% more damage and equates it with over 10 billion mesos of gear, without a universal calculation. Check actual character/boss levels, force, and modifiers; leveling need not yield that exact gain.
The source's week-eight milestone
-
22-star Challenger armor The source expects this around week eight, but it required Item Burning PLUS stage 11: level 280, a Normal Meirin solo clear, and 6,500 Challenge Emblems. A calendar week alone did not unlock it.
-
Genesis Pass-related rewards The source budgets pass-related cube rewards. Eligibility, quantities, payment, and expiry need separate checks; expired rewards cannot fund a current plan.
Equipment priorities in the example

Weapon, secondary, and emblem
-
Genesis weapon The example targets two useful Legendary Attack/Magic Attack lines. Compare alternatives and set a reroll cap. Bonus Potential also needs a marginal-gain comparison rather than a blanket dismissal.
-
Secondary The source targets two useful Legendary lines. Match the lines with the weapon and emblem's actual Boss Damage, Attack/Magic Attack, and IED; do not overspend solely because the slot is long-lived.
-
Mitra's Rage emblem The source favors modest useful lines over perfection. Its overpriced-market claim is unverified; buying Mitra is not mandatory.
Accessories and heart: intermediate targets
-
The source's comparison setup 18 stars, around 15% or better useful Unique main Potential, and two useful Epic Bonus Potential lines where applicable. Different item levels and classes can require different comparisons.
-
Dominator Pendant scrolling Check the dedicated Fragment of Distorted Time enhancement route’s material and scroll requirements; it is not automatically free or equal to every Premium option.
-
Plasma Heart The source considers 30%-trace scrolling and roughly 18 stars an adequate intermediate example. Twenty stars or higher potentials may be optional, but the best stop depends on actual gain, recovery access, and budget.
Level-4 special rings
The source quotes a 3-billion-meso ring and 2–3% Final Damage, neither a current quote nor a universal gain. Compare the specific ring, region, and rotation. Challenger-only rings had separate expiry and could not World Leap.
Other progression in the source plan
| Source priority | System | Target or limitation |
| Highest | Mysterious Barrier core, called a “crystal” by the source | The source aims for Legendary +8. It is a seasonal planning target, not a mandatory entry rule or a guaranteed result from daily items or purchases. |
| Highest | HEXA development | A proposed 4,000-fragment budget, including over 2,000 for skills and HEXA Stat development. Required gains and costs vary; do not spend to an arbitrary total as proof of readiness. |
| Recommended | The source's “pass equipment” scrolling | The source claims up to 130 Attack/Magic Attack without identifying the set and assumptions. Do not count this as a verified universal or per-item reward. |
| Recommended | Sacred Symbols | Source examples: Odium level 7 and Shangri-La level 5 or higher. Check actual Sacred Power requirements and the current character's deficit. |
| Optional | The source's “Black Label weapon” idea | The item/product label and alleged short-term rental route are unclear. Do not budget a guaranteed stat bonus, resale recovery, or safe rental from this suggestion without identifying the actual eligible item and rules. |
Comparing further upgrades

The source's “7 Challenger + 2 Eternal” glove setup
A source set-effect label, not proof of valid counts. One Eternal glove plus Genesis does not automatically activate two-piece Eternal; actual pieces and Lucky Item conditions must qualify.
-
How to decide: Compare current Critical Damage, potentials, lost set effects, and cost. A blanket archer/Cadena rule cannot establish glove value.
-
Resale considerations: Check trade state, Scissors allowance/cost, Memento locks, and listings. Resale does not guarantee cost recovery.
Adding Berserked to a Pitched set
The item called Loose Control Machine Mark in KMS is Berserked in the English reference. With an eligible Mitra's Rage already equipped, it can contribute a second Pitched Boss piece. Verify the actual equipped set and compare it with the displaced face accessory.
-
The source's figures: The source quotes a 300-million base, 1.5-billion total, and over 1.5% Final Damage. These are unverified historical estimates. Check that any enhancement coupon accepts the level-160 item.
-
Buying partially finished gear: The source favors useful 21% main-Potential bases and completing other work with available event resources. Compare the all-in cost with a finished listing and exclude expired or ineligible rewards.
When to consider 21-star accessories or high-end lines
Compare them only after identifying the shortfall in the intermediate setup. A 27% line target is not a universal requirement for efficient Star Force, and neither high potentials nor extra stars guarantee resale value.
Twenty-two-star temporary armor, level 285, and a 4,000-fragment spend were the source's milestones, not proof that every class could clear. Practice damage, survival, point requirements, and actual equipment conditions determined readiness.
A random Barrier upgrade result does not predict luck in boss mechanics. Use a spending limit, learn the encounter, and improve the demonstrated weakness rather than treating bad luck as destiny.
The source's checklist, with limits
[ ] Consider level 285 for the encounter's level gap; do not assume an automatic 10% gain
[ ] Meet the real 22-star equipment missions and secure useful Genesis potentials
[ ] Compare a specific level-4 ring; the quoted 3 billion and 2–3% are examples
[ ] Choose efficient HEXA upgrades rather than treating 4,000 fragments as a clear requirement
[ ] Review the actual seasonal Barrier and usable enhancement resources
-
Q1. Which classes should buy Eternal gloves?
-
Answer Compare your actual Critical Damage gain, potential lines, and valid set effects. The source's broad archer/Cadena exclusion is not a sufficient rule, and an uncertain set bonus should not justify a purchase.
-
-
Q2. How much should I reroll the Genesis weapon?
-
Answer Budget useful lines and compare alternatives. Genesis is important, but “final weapon” is outdated where further progression exists. Do not reroll without a cap.
-
-
Q3. What matters when enhancing Berserked?
-
Answer Compare actual base/finished prices, eligible rewards, and the displaced accessory. The source’s 300-million base, 1.5-billion total, and 1.5% gain are not current guarantees. Memento and item limits still apply.
