Roblox The Hollow 2026: North American Schedule, Nine Monsters, and Rewards

KUKJIN LEE·October 21, 2026

The Hollow brings recognizable Roblox horror characters together for Halloween. Its nine represented games include DOORS, Piggy, and Dandy’s World. The original preview left some scheduling and reward details open; Roblox’s October 21 announcement subsequently confirmed the main launch and reward-collection window. Free rewards and Marketplace purchases still need to be distinguished.

The interesting question is how the games connect, not just how many names appear. Familiar monsters can invite fans to try something different, but the event’s tasks and presentation determine whether that crossover stays interesting.

The Hollow’s Confirmed North American Schedule

The initial teaser gave ‘10.22.26’ without a time. Roblox’s later October 21 announcement confirmed the public opening for October 22 at 2 p.m. PDT / 5 p.m. EDT, with Roblox Plus hub exploration beginning at noon PDT / 3 p.m. EDT.

The original preview discussed a circulating estimate of October 22 at 11 a.m. PDT, equivalent to October 23 at 3 a.m. in Korea. That estimate was not the final official opening. The subsequently announced public start is three hours later: October 23 at 6 a.m. KST. Use the confirmed North American times above rather than the older estimate.

The announced live finale is on the morning of October 31, while reward collection continues until November 2 at noon PST / 3 p.m. EST. The US daylight-saving transition occurs between those dates, so the November deadline uses standard time. A finale and the last reward-collection time are separate milestones.

Nine Games and Their Featured Monsters

Dandy’s World, The Mimic, and Warden characters from the official event promotion

The official character lineup connects the following games and monsters. Use their English names to distinguish similarly named entries.

GameFeatured Character
DOORSSeek
PiggyPiggy
Dandy’s WorldTwisted Dandy
99 Nights in the ForestThe Deer
The MimicHiachi
WardenThe Overseer
Animal HospitalMimic
Scary Shawarma KioskThe Inspector
DemonologyBiter

Mimic, the Animal Hospital character, is separate from the game titled The Mimic. The lineup is not duplicating one game under two names.

Recognizable characters make the crossover more concrete than a list of titles. Seek may draw a DOORS player in, while the Deer gives a 99 Nights player a familiar starting point for discovering other games.

Nine represented games does not mean a requirement to finish nine separate games in a fixed order. The later announcement describes a shared survival experience inside the Hollow, with a new monster arriving each day for nine days. Follow the hub’s actual progression instructions.

Why the Piggy Chapter 13 Tease Matters

The source’s Piggy announcement mentions Chapter 13 taking place in The Hollow. That suggests a story connection beyond borrowing a character’s appearance.

Existing fans may want to see what happens next; newcomers may discover Piggy through the event. A clear entry point helps a platform-wide crossover introduce players to unfamiliar games.

The chapter name alone does not establish where it sits in the existing story or whether earlier chapters are prerequisites. Check the actual entry conditions rather than assuming you need to complete every previous chapter first.

The Seek and Twisted Dandy reveals similarly establish a character connection without, by themselves, specifying every encounter. Judge the activity through its actual tasks and progression rather than extrapolating a complete chase or map from a teaser.

Free Rewards Are Separate From Headless-Style Item Rumors

Original preview separating announced games and dates from reward and timing details still awaiting confirmation at that time

When checking a free-item claim, distinguish an item’s existence from its acquisition conditions. A newly listed asset might be a quest reward, a paid product, or intended for another distribution route.

The preview mentions discoveries interpreted as a new Headless-style item or pumpkin-shaped gear. Similar appearance does not establish an official name, feature, or free reward. Roblox’s later announcement includes limited-time Marketplace sales such as the Hollow Horseman; a sales listing is not a promise of a free Headless Horseman bundle.

The official follow-up confirms exclusive UGC and survival-related rewards through quests. It does not validate every earlier theory about event currency, amounts per game, or a particular exchange shop. Read those details in the actual event.

For any advertised free reward, check whether it is an account-wide avatar item or something usable only inside the experience, plus its tasks, claim action, availability window, and any quantity limit. Those conditions determine what ‘free’ actually involves.

How Does This Differ From Earlier Halloween Events?

Roblox’s 2024 The Haunt emphasized a costume contest: photographing an avatar and submitting it to themed categories. Presentation and outfit choices were central.

The 2025 Halloween Spotlight used forest exploration and travel among experiences, with quests yielding runes and keys for access and avatar rewards. Its announced roster spanned more than 30 games.

Those precedents explain why players expected quests and rewards again. They do not mean the same currencies, quantities, or routes apply in 2026.

The Hollow instead places familiar characters inside a shared survival setup. A smaller represented roster can still make an engaging event if the encounters and story use those characters well. Recognizable names alone cannot make repetitive tasks interesting.

Start With a Familiar Point of Interest

You do not need to study nine complete walkthroughs before entering. Where progression permits, begin with a familiar character or an activity that interests you, reducing the learning burden.

After your first task, check where progress is recorded and how it connects to the overall reward track. An individual completion indicator and an account-level event reward may be separate steps.

If you are less comfortable with horror, read the experience’s current content information rather than choosing only by popularity. If playing together, agree on an activity everyone is comfortable with as well as a reward goal.

A game’s own Halloween update and a platform event task are not automatically the same thing. Check which task actually advances the reward you want before spending time on unrelated limited-time content.

A Reason to Return Matters More Than the Roster Size

The crossover’s appeal is whether gathering familiar monsters produces engaging reasons to play. Piggy’s story connection and encounters with recognizable characters can also become routes into unfamiliar games.

Alongside reward quantity, judge task variety, progress clarity, and the time needed for your goal. Learning a new game can be enjoyable; unclear instructions are a separate source of friction.

If rewards are your priority, start with clearly explained conditions. If horror is the draw, follow the characters that interest you. Discovering one experience you want to revisit can be more valuable than treating every represented game as a checklist.

Regional and version notes

Updated from the source’s prelaunch preview using Roblox’s October 21 announcement. The public start is 2 p.m. PDT on October 22, not the earlier 11 a.m. estimate. The event is aimed at ages 9 and older in most regions, with account and regional access differences. Quest rewards and paid items are separate. Some illustrations are retained from the Korean edition and may include Korean labels. Use the English article text for instructions.
