Pokémon GO’s November Into the Wild event runs from Monday, November 9 at 10 a.m. to Friday, November 13 at 8 p.m. GO Wild Area: Global follows on Saturday, November 14 and Sunday, November 15, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. each day. These are Korean times (KST, UTC+9). If you can play only one weekend day, choose Saturday for Dynamax Dialga and mighty Metagross, or Sunday for Dynamax Palkia and mighty Tinkaton. Gigantamax Duraludon appears both days, so local group availability can also guide your choice.
The first thing to take care of in this schedule is the Pokémon stash rather than the ticket. People who want to register Dynamax Dialga for the first time even if they already have Dialga, and people who just don't have enough energy to combine Kyurem have different places to go even on the same Saturday. In particular, for Kyurem, the Pokémon that appears in raids and the pair that is used for actual merging are different. If you distinguish just this part, it will become much clearer where you will spend half a day of your precious weekend.
Which weekday evening battle should you prioritize?

Look at the gym on Mondays and Tuesdays. The main character of the raid hour on the 9th is Zacian (Crowned Sword), and on the 10th it is Zamazenta (Crowned Shield). Both appear in the Into the Wild legendary raid, and can be seen intensively at 6-7 PM on each day. If you win, you get Crowned Sword Energy on Zacian's side and Crowned Shield Energy on Zamazenta's side. Even if you already have Zacian or Zamazenta, here's a reason to participate. If you want to change the form of a raised object, you can start by collecting energy from the part that is lacking.
From Wednesday onward, look for five-star Max Battles at Power Spots. Registeel appears on November 11, Dynamax Regidrago makes its debut on November 12, and Latias and Latios appear on November 13. Each is available on its listed date, with a Max Battle Hour from 6 to 7 p.m. If you have one free evening and enjoy collecting new Dynamax Pokémon, Thursday is a good choice. Regidrago caught during the event knows the Fast Attack Dragon Breath. If you want a specific member of Friday’s duo, check nearby Power Spots before heading out.
Even on weekdays when it is difficult to get together, there are things to do. Ralts appear in Star 1 Max Battle, Machop appears in Star 2, and in the wild, you can meet Magnemite or Noibat. If you normally use Remote Raid, keep in mind that the upper limit increases to 30 per day on the 9th to 13th, and the limit is lifted on the 14th to 15th. This number is the number of times you can participate in a Remote Raid. The number of free raid passes you can receive at the gym on the weekend is limited.
Dynamax Meltan is available through the free GO Pass
If Meltan is your goal, first distinguish the look you want. Dynamax Meltan is a progress reward for the free ‘GO Pass: Into the Wild’ that is automatically paid at 10 am on the 9th. You can meet it by collecting GO points through pass tasks and raising your rank. Deluxe also includes an additional encounter with Dynamax Meltan, but no payment is required to get your first one.
The Mystery Box attracts ordinary Meltan. You obtain it by transferring a Pokémon from Pokémon GO to Pokémon HOME or to Pokémon: Let’s Go, Pikachu! or Let’s Go, Eevee! on Nintendo Switch. From November 9 at 10 a.m. to November 15 at 6 p.m., its reopening cooldown is reduced and you may encounter Shiny Meltan. During the same window, the Coin Bag offers a chance at Shiny Gimmighoul. These opportunities continue through Sunday, even though the main Into the Wild event ends on Friday evening.
There are also things to take care of after Friday with your pass. There is a cap on the number of GO Points you can collect per day on weekdays, but you can collect them without limit on two weekend days. When you reach Free Rank 25, the distance required to place a new egg in the incubator during the event is halved. Honedge, Klefki, Drampa, and Duraludon can appear from the weekend 10km eggs, so if you are targeting eggs, it is advantageous to open the rank bonus first and then place them in the incubator. If you plan to attend the next event, be sure to claim the Tier 1 reward for the Into the Wild Pass. If you meet these conditions, you can use the ‘Colossal Footprints’ pass in advance from 10 a.m. on the 14th and also receive a deluxe upgrade of the pass for free.
Kyurem fusion: the raid partner and fusion partner are different
| KST (UTC+9) 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM | Saturday, November 14 | Sunday, November 15 |
|---|---|---|
| Legendary Raid | Zekrom, White Kyurem | Reshiram, Black Kyurem |
| Max Battle | Dynamax Dialga, Gigantamax Duraludon | Dynamax Palkia, Gigantamax Duraludon |
| Examples to look out for among wild mighty Pokémon | Metagross, Haxorus | Hydreigon, Tinkaton |
For example, let's say you want to make White Kyurem. You can collect the necessary Blaze Fusion Energy by winning the White Kyurem raid on Saturday, and then encounter Kyurem in the capture screen. However, the opponent that will be combined with this Kyurem is Reshiram, which appears in Sunday Raid. If you already have Reshiram and candy, this may be enough to fuel your energy routine on Saturday. If you don't have Reshiram in your inventory, you'll need to keep in mind the Sunday raid.
Black Kyurem is the opposite. The pair is Zekrom, which appears on Saturday, and Volt Fusion Energy is collected from the Black Kyurem raid on Sunday. Both combinations require 1,000 of that energy, 30 candies from Kyurem, and 30 candies from the paired Pokémon. If you want to use Adventure Effects, also look at Kyurem's skills to combine. A Kyurem that has learned ‘Glaciate’ learns ‘Freeze Shock’ when it becomes a Black Kyurem, and ‘Ice Burn’ when it becomes a White Kyurem. The Kyurem you meet in this raid may know ‘Glaciate’, so it makes a difference when choosing which of the many to spend energy on.
If Max Battle is your goal, the plan is simpler. You can choose a day between Dialga and Palkia and then challenge Gigantamax Duraludon in the Star 6 Max Battle on the same day. Jacketed Machamp collectors should look for the 3-star raids held both days instead of the Power Spot. If you're looking for a place to hang out with other trainers in Korea, a commemorative event will also be held at Time Villas Suwon the same weekend from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Visiting Suwon is optional, and you can participate in the global gaming event anywhere in the country.
Stock up on GO Safari Balls before hunting mighty Pokémon
If you like the fun of walking, ‘mighty Pokémon’ is the most welcome thing on the weekend. They can have high attack, defense, and HP, and come in XL or XXL sizes, but they are harder to catch than the wild Pokémon you normally encounter. At this time, the GO Safari Ball increases the probability of capture. Even if you don't have a ticket, you have a chance to get one by spinning photo discs at PokéStops and gyms during the event. So, rather than deciding on a walking course just by guessing where mighty Pokémon will appear, it's better to choose a path where you can replenish your supplies along the way. Balls can only be used between 10 AM and 6 PM on both days and disappear after the global event ends.
Two encounter schedules overlap. Steel- and Dragon-themed hours alternate, beginning with Steel; examples include Beldum and Lucario during Steel hours, and Dratini and Frigibax during Dragon hours. Mighty Pokémon also have separate daily lists. Metagross, for example, is a Saturday mighty encounter and learns Meteor Mash when caught—or when evolved from Metang—during the event. You can therefore obtain the move with an existing Metang and enough Candy even if you miss a wild Metagross. Sunday’s mighty Tinkaton and Gigaton Hammer offer a similar collection target.
Regular Incense provides another opportunity. Some mighty Pokémon, including Scizor, Kingdra, and Hydreigon, can be attracted on both days without a ticket. Although Hydreigon’s daily wild appearance is Sunday, someone playing only Saturday can still encounter it through Incense. This means regular Incense, rather than the blue Daily Adventure Incense: the latter does not use this event’s Incense encounter list.
Global ticket or GO Pass Deluxe: which suits your plans?

The official price is USD 11.99 for the global ticket and USD 14.99 for the basic Into the Wild GO Pass Deluxe. Please check the payment amount in domestic won on the purchase screen. The criteria for selecting the two products are quite different.
The Global Ticket can be judged by what else you can do during the two-day weekend. Even for free, you can receive up to 3 raid passes per day from the gym photo disc and collect up to 1,600 Max Particles per day. If you buy a ticket, it increases to a maximum of 6 and 3,200 respectively. For someone who will only do a couple of raids and come back, three additional passes will mean little. On the other hand, if you have multiple gyms and plan to stop by the Power Spot, you can use both bonuses in the same outing.
If you like wild collecting, your criteria will be different. Ticket holders will have double the duration of regular Incense and also have the opportunity to encounter Latias and Latios, who are strong with Incense. You can replenish GO Safari Balls at the supply balloon every hour, and your chances of encountering Shiny Pokémon also increase. The Latias from Friday's Max Battle and the strong Latias from Weekend Incense have different targets and ways to meet each other, so think about which one you want. Anyone can challenge Gigantamax Duraludon in battle, but encounters with Pokémon with a Special Background can be received as rewards for completing ticket-limited Special Research.
If you bought a ticket, it's worth choosing an early route for Special Research, which opens at 10 a.m. on Saturdays. After receiving a Steel or Dragon Medallion, you will receive an additional 1,000 Stardust each time you catch a mighty Pokémon of that type, and if you are Trainer Level 31 or higher, you will also receive an additional Candy XL. The bonus ends at 6 PM on Sunday, so if Metagross on Saturday is your goal, get the Steel Medal first to take advantage of it.
Into the Wild GO Pass Deluxeis more about investing in the Pokémon you want to raise as you level up. The most noteworthy reward is the Silver Bottle Cap, which you will receive upon completing the pass. You can select a Pokémon that is Good Buddy or higher and begin ‘Hyper Training’ for one of its attack, defense, and HP abilities, and by completing related tasks, you can increase that ability to the maximum. Shadow Pokémon are excluded, and Pokémon that have completed special training cannot be sent to Pokémon HOME. For example, if you are already satisfied with attack and HP and have a partner who only wants to increase defense, it is clear where to use these rewards. If you haven't thought of a destination yet, you can start with the free pass. Even if you upgrade to deluxe later, you can receive additional rewards for the rank you have already achieved.
Keep the deadlines separate. November 15 at 6 p.m. is the final time to earn Into the Wild GO Pass ranks; November 17 at 11:59 p.m. is the deadline to claim earned rewards. A Silver Bottle Cap obtained by completing Deluxe must be used by November 22 at 11:59 p.m., and the Hyper Training tasks must be completed within 365 days after use. A half-day outing is worth more when it brings you the Pokémon you actually want. One Saturday Dialga can be a sufficient free plan; a particular stat you want to perfect on a long-term partner may give you a reason to consider Deluxe.
