KMS event · Ended · About these guides
When a MapleStory event ends, review unclaimed rewards, leftover currencies, and voucher restrictions in that order. Earning a reward is only useful if you claim it in time on a character that can use it.
This is a historical checklist for Korean summer 2026 events. Those summer claim and growth windows have ended as of this English review. The priorities below explain how to plan an event wrap-up; they do not reopen rewards or announce matching GMS events.
Start with reward-claim status

List the events you actually joined
The Korean summer lineup included the Ultima Operation Log, Etherion Artifact, new-mercenary support missions, Momentum Pass PLUS, and Challenger Pass. These are descriptive English labels for the Korean events. Identify which ones you joined, then check progress and claim status.
Prioritize rewards whose conditions you already met. Next, separate near-complete goals from those needing substantial extra play. Focus on rewards you can use rather than trying to finish every available task.
Check the receiving character and voucher conditions
Read tradeability, storage transfer rules, and expiration alongside the item name. For selection rewards, choose the intended character and resource before opening the box.
A voucher and the item obtained from it can have different restrictions or deadlines. Do not assume every reward moves or expires the same way.
Buy what your character actually needs
Review the Korean Alliance Token Shop and your balance
The summer notices included an Alliance Token Shop and merchant bounty activities. Begin with the actual balance and eligible products, using the relevant season's notice rather than a different region's shop list.
Set priorities around the character's progression goal and the item's usability. The table below is a decision framework, not a fixed ranking of confirmed shop products.
| Your situation | Rewards to consider | Check before buying |
|---|---|---|
| Close to a target level | EXP and growth support | Eligible level and use restrictions |
| The main's progress is stalled | The resource currently missing | Required quantity and other sources |
| Preparing equipment upgrades | Enhancement resources | Eligible gear and expiration |
| Developing an alt | Growth rewards that can reach that character | Storage and character-binding restrictions |
| Collecting appearances | Cosmetics and collectibles | Duplicates and the remaining budget |
Do not spend solely because currency remains
The same reward can have different value on different characters. Buying an item with no use planned can leave too little currency for a real bottleneck.
Ask who will use it, whether they can use it before expiration, and whether it is worth giving up another reward. A clear use makes allocation easier.
Recheck Challenger item restrictions

Fragment expiration was corrected in the Korean notice
The Korean season-four notice corrected Sol Erda Fragments in the ordinary Challenger Shop to permanent. That correction applies to that product, not automatically to every voucher or reward.
Use the revised notice and the actual tooltip. An old assumption can lead either to rushing a permanent item or mistakenly keeping a reward that really does expire.
A ring choice affects the later selector
The Korean notice also links the level-3 and level-4 special-skill ring choices:
-
Choosing a level-3 Ring of Restraint restricts the later level-4 selector to Continuous Ring.
-
Choosing a level-3 Continuous Ring restricts the later level-4 selector to Ring of Restraint.
Plan the pair instead of choosing only for the immediate moment. These Challenger-only rings also have their own expiration and cannot World Leap; the selection does not create transferable ordinary Oz rings.
Connect leftover rewards to one next goal
Choose the next progression task
After reviewing summer rewards, pick a specific goal: another level, a boss attempt, or an alt. A concrete target makes the allocation more useful.
Send EXP support to the character pursuing that level, and materials to the actual shortage. Work out the required amount before dividing rewards among many characters.
For a new event, read entry and reward rules first
Check character eligibility, daily and weekly opportunities, currency sharing, and claim conditions. This historical checklist does not establish an unannounced future schedule. For a current North American plan, use current GMS notices rather than the Korean summer calendar.
An event wrap-up checklist
-
Review attendance, growth, and pass reward claims.
-
Check remaining currencies and available shop products.
-
Read voucher expiration and transfer restrictions.
-
Choose receiving characters and required quantities.
-
Read corrections to Challenger notices.
-
Account for later ring-selector restrictions.
-
Allocate usable rewards to the next concrete goal.
An event wrap-up is complete when the rewards you earned can actually support the character you intend to keep playing. For this ended Korean season, the checklist is a record and a planning reference—not an active claim opportunity.
