KMS event · Ended · About these guides

Archived KMS Season 4 guide. Genesis liberation, Item Burning PLUS, and the Etherion Artifact supported Hard Meirin preparation without guaranteeing a cheap clear. Meirin missions ended September 16, 2026 at 11:59 p.m. KST.

Challenger tier requirements

Archived Hard Meirin equipment and HEXA preparation

The season required all of the following:

  • At least 90,000 Challenger Points
  • A Hard Meirin solo clear
  • The applicable world ranking for Challenger or Super Challenger

World 4 ranks 1–50 received Super Challenger; rank 51 onward, Challenger. Worlds 1–3 used ranks 1–999 and 1,000 onward.

The source's Hard Meirin preparation targets

Entry required level 280. The source suggested 285 for level-difference modifiers, not as a guaranteed clear threshold.

  • Prioritize a liberated Genesis weapon and its useful upgrades
  • Aim for two useful lines on secondary and emblem
  • Consider two useful Attack/Magic Attack lines on Epic Bonus Potential in this KMS setup
  • Use 18-star accessories with two useful Unique lines as a comparison target
  • Compare Arcane Umbra gloves first if replacing temporary armor
  • Then compare Arcane Umbra cape and shoes
  • Use a level-200 18-star armor scroll only on eligible items

Do not replace stronger temporary armor with weaker permanent gear. Compare the gain and plan around the temporary set’s expiry.

HEXA Matrix investment

Seasonal fragment sources included the Challenger shop, events, eligible Korean PC-cafe rewards, and training; these are not current claims.

The source reviewed these priorities rather than leveling every core uniformly:

  1. Frequently used mastery cores
  2. Boost cores with a substantial share of actual damage
  3. The Origin skill
  4. Fifth-job burst skills and their HEXA boosts
  5. HEXA Stats

Compare gain per material for your class. The Etherion Artifact did not generate fragments directly; its training and Monster Park bonuses helped indirectly.

Hard Meirin mechanic cues

Descriptive pattern label Response described by the source
Space split Move into the rift matching the attribute color above your character
Arrow of fate Adjust the arrow's path to pass through the target
Cards of fate Remember the correct card and track its position through the shuffle
Disappearing blue sanctuary Reach the blue portion of the shrinking circle
Swords of flame and frost Move to the position matching the displayed symbol
Engulfing storm Read the wind direction at the top of the screen and reposition
Soul swords of judgment Watch the glowing swords' activation order and avoid their areas

Pattern labels are descriptive KMS translations. The source notes that failures could cost gauge as well as HP, especially important near the damage threshold.

Chaos and Order effects

Hard Meirin descriptive pattern cues and encounter effects

The source highlighted these recurring attack choices for Chaos effects:

  • Evan: Elemental Radiance
  • Hoyoung: Sage: Wrath of Gods
  • Angelic Buster: Superstar Spotlight

For Order, the source valued Origin resets, fifth-job-and-below resets, and 20% Final Damage. These were conditional encounter effects, not general buffs; priorities depended on class and available effects.

Use valid incapacitation windows for damage and survival. Some field patterns were suppressed, but binds do not cancel every scripted mechanic or ignore resistance.
