KMS Kaiser Sixth Job: HEXA Skills and the September Rework

URITRIP·July 17, 2026

KMS build · About these guides

Kaiser's sixth-job progression develops more than one new attack. Its Origin, Nova Triumphant, works alongside fifth-job boosts and mastery cores that strengthen the transformation-and-sustained-damage kit.

The foundation remains Final Form and consistent attack uptime. This KMS guide updates the source's older descriptions where September 2026 changed the mechanics, especially Wing Beat, Stone Dragon, and Draco Surge. English names follow the GMS skill reference; regional implementations can differ.

Kaiser HEXA overview

The source discusses these main components:

Type English skill name
Origin Nova Triumphant
Mastery HEXA Gigas Wave
Mastery HEXA Blade Burst and HEXA Tempest Blades
Mastery HEXA Inferno Breath
Mastery HEXA Stone Dragon and HEXA Wing Beat
Fifth-job boost Nova Guardians Boost
Fifth-job boost Bladefall Boost
Fifth-job boost Draco Surge Boost
Fifth-job boost Dragonflare Boost

The kit does not put every improvement into Origin. Masteries and fifth-job boosts also improve attacks used throughout the fight, so compare their next upgrade costs rather than investing in Origin alone.

Kaiser sixth-job Origin and mastery skill overview

Origin: Nova Triumphant

What the skill adds

The Origin discussed here is Nova Triumphant in the English skill reference. Do not confuse it with the separate fifth-job common skill Might of the Nova, despite the Korean source's literal naming.

The attack draws on the legacy of earlier Kaisers, adding a large cinematic strike and a concentrated damage window.

Nova Guardians, Dragonflare, and Bladefall can contribute around that window. The aim is to coordinate existing damage sources with Origin rather than replace them.

Using Origin in an actual fight

The source highlights these benefits:

  • A concentrated attack sequence during the cinematic
  • Overlap with persistent attacks already active
  • Origin's applicable incapacitation effect can help keep the boss in a controlled window
  • Its protection can cover certain dangerous moments, subject to mechanics that bypass it

Origin does not turn Kaiser into a class that deals all its damage in one button. Sustained attacks and the rest of the kit still need uptime.

HEXA Gigas Wave

What the mastery improves

HEXA Gigas Wave upgrades Kaiser's primary Gigas Wave boss attack.

It strengthens the repeated attack and its transformed version. Use the current tooltip for exact target counts, hit counts, and damage; later KMS balance patches changed its coefficients.

Because Gigas Wave is used well beyond the main burst window, its mastery can affect a large part of total fight damage.

How Draco Surge fits

Gigas Wave interacts with Draco Surge through the skill's reinforcement system. September KMS added storage for up to five Draco Surge uses, so the source's simple periodic-activation description is incomplete for that version.

Developing these related cores can improve:

  • Damage during ordinary bossing uptime
  • Sustained output while transformed
  • Damage from the available Draco Surge attacks
  • Output between major burst windows

Their actual frequency in your Battle Analysis helps explain why Gigas Wave mastery is often an early comparison target.

HEXA Tempest Blades and HEXA Blade Burst

Tempest Blades mastery

HEXA Tempest Blades upgrades the summoned swords used for additional attacks.

The swords contribute to the Morph Gauge and interact with Bladefall. They are not merely a training summon.

The September KMS update shortened sword preparation substantially and changed several interactions. Use those current timings when fitting Tempest Blades and Bladefall into a rotation.

Blade Burst mastery

HEXA Blade Burst upgrades a principal area attack used for training.

Its coverage can help map clearing. For a boss-focused character, compare its real contribution and related passives with Gigas Wave and the main fifth-job boosts.

It can be more immediately valuable when leveling or training coverage is the current priority.

HEXA Inferno Breath

HEXA Inferno Breath upgrades the frontal attack and its continuing damage component.

Inferno Breath can interact with Kaiser's Majesty and eligible cooldown-skip effects. These interactions depend on the current skill rules; do not assume every skill or HEXA attack can be reset.

Its delivered value depends on more than one cast's damage:

  • Whether Kaiser's Majesty is available and applicable
  • Whether an eligible cooldown skip actually occurs
  • How long the boss stays inside the attack area
  • How many useful casts fit without displacing better attacks

A favorable reset sequence can improve output, but it is not a guaranteed baseline for an upgrade calculation.

Stone Dragon and Wing Beat after the KMS changes

HEXA Stone Dragon

HEXA Stone Dragon was described by the source as a stationary dragon summon dealing repeated area damage.

September KMS restricted its use on some maps outside training maps and added a permanent Attack benefit to the mastery. It should therefore not be presented as an unrestricted bossing summon in that revised version.

It can still serve training coverage where usable. Evaluate the current passive and permitted maps rather than relying on the older bossing description.

HEXA Wing Beat

HEXA Wing Beat was originally described as manually placed moving whirlwinds.

September KMS changed Wing Beat and its mastery to passive whirlwinds created at an enemy's position when directly used attacks hit. Follow that version's trigger rules instead of the source's old manual stacking instructions.

These changes alter both input requirements and damage allocation. A pre-rework recording does not establish their current bossing contribution.

Kaiser Tempest Blades and Inferno Breath interactions

Fifth-job boost cores

Nova Guardians Boost

Nova Guardians summons ancestral Kaisers that attack for a duration.

Their attacks can overlap your own actions. September KMS added a joint attack after enough hits, so factor the current behavior into a boost comparison.

Bladefall Boost

Bladefall uses the Tempest Blades swords for its attack sequence.

The revised KMS version removed its old planted-duration damage scaling and changed the flame/Draco interaction. Do not use the old waiting-time rule to plan current casts.

Draco Surge Boost

Draco Surge provides reinforced attacks associated with the Gigas Wave cycle, including the revised KMS stored-use mechanic.

Its actual use count matters when comparing its boost with a mastery. Review how the two attacks contribute together in a full fight.

Dragonflare Boost

Dragonflare adds flames and follow-up attacks during its duration.

The September KMS changes expanded which attacks trigger its effects, including sword skills. Positioning and boss targetability still determine how much of that output connects.

A practical sequence after sixth job

Prepare the kit around Origin rather than using Origin in isolation. The source's general setup order is:

Use this as a framework, then adjust it for the current patch:

  1. Secure Final Form through the gauge or Final Trance
  2. Prepare burst buffs and Grandis Goddess's Blessing
  3. Summon Nova Guardians
  4. Activate Dragonflare and fit Bladefall into the attack window
  5. Use Inferno Breath where appropriate and check actual reset availability
  6. Use Nova Triumphant while useful persistent attacks are active
  7. Continue Gigas Wave and available Draco Surge attacks
  8. Use Tempest Blades and other eligible attacks around their current cooldowns; Wing Beat is passive in revised KMS

Your special ring, cooldown skips, and the boss can change the exact order. The common objective is to overlap persistent damage with a reliable Origin window, without following obsolete manual-summon instructions.

Strengths and practical limits

What the progression improves

  • An additional concentrated window through Nova Triumphant
  • Sustained output through Gigas Wave mastery and Draco Surge boosts
  • Stronger contributions from existing fifth-job attacks
  • Training and passive benefits across several masteries
  • The transformed Gigas Wave and movement playstyle

What still needs management

  • Maintaining useful transformed attack time
  • Morph Gauge and transformation duration
  • Variation from eligible Inferno Breath resets
  • Damage lost to movement or untargetable phases, following the revised skill behavior
  • Preparation time for the full burst kit

Choosing the next HEXA upgrade

For a bossing character, compare Gigas Wave mastery and the major fifth-job boosts against their current use counts and next material costs.

Inferno Breath's value depends on applicable reset interactions. Nova Guardians and Dragonflare can improve the coordinated burst window.

Blade Burst can support training, while Stone Dragon and Wing Beat must be evaluated under the revised map restrictions and passive behavior.

Equipment, core levels, rings, and Inner Ability change the marginal gain. Use current character-specific comparisons rather than treating this overview as a fixed optimization order.

Kaiser coordinated burst and HEXA investment priorities

What sixth job means for Kaiser

The progression primarily develops the transformation-and-sustained-damage identity while adding a stronger concentrated attack, rather than replacing the class's basic rhythm.

Origin and the repeated attacks need to work together. Subsequent KMS reworks also changed how several attacks are activated, so an older rotation is only a starting reference.

Kaiser still rewards transformation planning, gauge management, positioning, and maintaining attacks through a fight. It suits players who enjoy coordinating these systems instead of relying on one isolated burst button.
