KMS transfer guide · About these guides
After moving a character from a Korean Challenger world to a permanent world, review the new setup before buying equipment. You may now have access to existing Link Skills and Legion bonuses, while guild membership and Legion Champion need checking too.
Temporary Challenger equipment does not disappear simply because the transfer finished. The summer 2026 KMS Item Burning PLUS equipment remains usable until November 18 at 11:59 p.m. KST, but can no longer be grown after moving to a regular world. Plan permanent replacements during that remaining period.
A useful review order is guild → bossing presets → Oz rings → Legion Champion → permanent gear plan. Adapt the order to your character's actual needs.
This follows the Korean source's September 15, 2026 snapshot. Its Personal Burning section originally previewed the September 10 test proposal. The final September 17 KMS rules are now available and linked below; Korean dates and systems are not a GMS event announcement.
Five checks after a Korean Challenger transfer
| Order | Task | Key checks |
|---|---|---|
| 1 | Guild membership and account group | Noblesse skills and participation requirements |
| 2 | Bossing setup | Links, Legion, Hyper Stats, event buffs |
| 3 | Oz rings | Ring of Restraint, Weapon Jump, Continuous Ring, and local prices |
| 4 | Legion Champion | The 8,000 Legion condition, registration, and trials |
| 5 | Temporary equipment replacements | November 18 expiration and permanent gear budget |
1. Check guild membership and account grouping

A guild is one of the first systems to review after the transfer.
For a new guild, compare Noblesse skills with its activity rules: Sharenian Culvert, Flag Race, play hours, and alt policies can differ.
If another character already belongs to a guild
Check the Korean guild interface's Add Account Group option before seeking a different guild. This is a translated Korean feature label, not a claim that every GMS version has the same interface.
The Korean guide describes grouping up to six eligible characters in a guild account group, subject to guild capacity, with eligible additions possible later.
Attendance, contribution, and some guild content operate at the group/account level under those Korean rules. Check whether the transferred character can join the existing group first.
If you need a new guild
For bossing, Noblesse skill points are a useful starting comparison. The source mentions roughly 45 points as a common preference, not a requirement for every character or region.
Also compare:
- Culvert and Flag Race requirements
- Weekly contribution rules
- Usual play hours
- Alt membership policy
- Boss-party activity
Strong skills are less useful if the guild's routine does not fit your schedule.
2. Rebuild bossing Links, Legion, and Hyper Stats
A transfer changes which Link Skills and Legion bonuses the character can use.
If you already developed other characters in the destination world, update the preset rather than leaving the Challenger setup unchanged.
Check the following:
- Link Skills: Confirm the intended bossing links are applied.
- Legion: Check board stats and character bonuses.
- Hyper Stats: Reassess the allocation with the destination world's bonuses.
- Event buffs: Confirm which event stats are actually active.
- Presets: Save and select the correct bossing configuration.
More Boss Damage, Ignore Enemy Defense, or Critical Rate from account bonuses can change the value of the previous Hyper Stat allocation.
If you use a third-party calculator, refresh equipment, links, Legion, and event stats before comparing results.
Check that active Link Skills, such as Angelic Buster's, are on your hotkeys and included in the burst sequence.
3. Replace Challenger-only Oz rings
Do not assume every special-skill ring from the event world can move with the character.
Under the Korean season's rules, Challenger Ring of Restraint and Challenger Continuous Ring are event-world-only and cannot World Leap.
You therefore need ordinary special-skill rings for the permanent world. GMS has its own event and acquisition rules.
For a limited Korean trade-enabled budget, the source suggests comparing a level-3 Ring of Restraint and a level-4 Weapon Jump Ring. That is a candidate comparison, not the same priority for every class.
| Factor | What to compare |
|---|---|
| Character fit | The effect with your class and equipment |
| Auction price | The difference in the actual destination market |
| Burst structure | Whether you can use the ring's window effectively |
| Intended lifespan | A temporary bridge or a long-term ring |
Choose the Weapon Jump variant matching your main stat. GMS Heroic cannot use this Korean Auction House buying plan unchanged.
If performance is close and prices differ greatly, a cheaper usable ring may leave more for other gear. For a long-term main, compare higher-level Restraint and Continuous Ring options too.
Ring value depends on the class's damage timing. Check your own character instead of buying whichever ring appears most often in a build list.
4. Check Legion Champion eligibility and trials

If the destination world already has a developed Legion, review Champion registration.
The Korean entry conditions include Grand Master Legion I and a level-260-plus character in the world. Check the current regional requirements before registering.
Grand Master Legion I corresponds to a total Legion level of 8,000. That is separate from the level of the character you register.
After qualifying, complete the Korean Legion Road to Champion introductory quest, then use the Champion tab to register the transferred character. These English quest labels identify the Korean steps.
A newly registered character begins at rank C and raises its rank through trials.
| Target rank | Trial boss |
|---|---|
| B | Hard Lotus |
| A | Hard Verus Hilla |
| S | Hard Black Mage |
| SS | Hard Chosen Seren |
| SSS | Normal Kalos the Guardian |
The source summarizes these as solo Champion Mode clears within 20 minutes for the listed rank trials in the current Korean guide. Use the Champion trial conditions, not the ordinary boss timer.
The Korean guide permits qualifying Champion Mode practice clears for trials. Use practice to test the setup before assuming you can reproduce an event-world clear.
After a successful trial, right-click the registered Champion in the Legion interface to raise its rank.
Champion badge stats apply only to registered Champion characters. Higher ranks add benefits such as Boss Damage, Critical Damage, and Ignore Enemy Defense.
A higher boss cleared in Challenger does not guarantee the same trial in the permanent world. Links, Legion, guild skills, rings, and temporary bonuses can differ. Test progressively.
5. Plan replacements before November 18
World Leaping does not immediately delete the Challenger equipment.
The summer 2026 KMS Item Burning PLUS equipment remains usable until November 18, 2026 at 11:59 p.m. KST.
However, transferring from a Challenger world to a regular world stops further equipment growth.
Treat it as a temporary bridge while preparing a complete permanent setup.
A replacement-planning order
- Record the performance of all eight temporary slots.
- Choose the boss goal and the intended complete setup.
- Set the total meso budget.
- Compare finished-item listings where trading is available.
- Include remaining Star Force, Potential, and bonus-stat work if enhancing yourself.
- Calculate which set bonuses are gained and lost at each replacement step.
The Challenger set has substantial bonuses. Replacing one piece with a slightly stronger item can still reduce the full setup's performance.
Compare more than one item's stats: include the effects lost when the Challenger set count falls. That makes the before-and-after comparison meaningful.
Using Personal Burning resources for replacement gear

The September test proposal introduced Personal Burning for after September 17 maintenance through November 18, 2026 at 11:59 p.m. KST. That Korean event has since entered its live period.
Its listed Karma Black Cube offer is:
| KMS item | Coins each | Purchase limit |
|---|---|---|
| Karma Black Cube | 85 | 100 per Maple ID |
Buying all 100 costs 8,500 Personal Coins. That spending comes from the event's limited coin budget.
These resources can help permanent replacements, but Karma items have equipment restrictions. Check eligibility before buying an item specifically to use them on.
Compare buying a cheaper Legendary item and rolling it yourself with buying one whose lines are already finished.
Self-rerolling can finish quickly or take more resources than expected. Compare the full cost with finished listings rather than counting only the starting item.
The original article used Test World terms. Use the final KMS live notice for actual shop access, limits, and item restrictions; do not assume those Korean cubes or prices exist identically in GMS.
Post-transfer FAQ
What should I check first?
Review an existing guild/account group, then rebuild bossing Links, Legion, and Hyper Stats. Next, check rings and Champion registration.
Can Challenger Restraint or Continuous rings transfer?
Not under the Korean season's listed event-ring rules. Prepare the ordinary equivalents available in the destination world.
Which is better: Restraint 3 or Weapon Jump 4?
It depends on class, gear, and burst timing. Compare your character's performance and the actual local acquisition cost.
How much Legion do I need for Champion?
The Korean requirement is Grand Master Legion I, 8,000 total Legion levels, plus a level-260-plus character in the world.
Does the temporary gear vanish when I transfer?
No. This KMS season's gear lasts until November 18, 2026 at 11:59 p.m. KST, but cannot be grown further after a regular-world transfer.
Must I replace every slot immediately?
No. Use the remaining period to prepare. Compare the full setup, including set bonuses, rather than replacing pieces without a plan.
A first-day checklist
-
Check whether the character can join an existing guild account group.
-
Reapply bossing Link Skills.
-
Adjust Legion and Hyper Stats for the destination world.
-
Check event buffs and the active bossing preset.
-
Compare replacements for Challenger-only Oz rings.
-
Review Champion registration and trial conditions.
-
Confirm the temporary equipment's November 18 expiration.
-
Budget permanent replacements.
After leaving the Korean Challenger world, review guild and bossing settings, then rings and Champion trials, before committing the gear budget. This order helps separate free setup improvements from purchases.
You have the listed equipment-use period to plan the transition. Match replacements to the character's boss goal and resources, with the complete set bonuses included, to avoid paying twice for an unsuitable intermediate setup.
