KMS 100K Converted-Stat Builds: How to Budget the Full Setup

KMS gearing example · About these guides

A 100,000 converted-stat target in Korean MapleStory involves more than replacing a few pieces. Eternal armor, Pitched Boss accessories, HEXA, Oz rings, symbols, pets, Legion, and other progression all contribute. Converted stats are a third-party calculator metric, not your displayed main stat or Combat Power.

Adding listing prices alone can seriously understate the full cost. This guide uses the Korean source's build examples to show what to include in the budget. Its prices are historical examples, not current GMS quotes.

What does 100K converted stats mean?

The score combines many inputs: equipment, Potential, bonus stats, Star Force, Inner Ability, Legion, Links, symbols, and HEXA development. Use the same calculator mode and inputs when comparing two builds.

Why similar equipment can produce different scores

Class and the rest of the setup matter even when two equipment sets cost similar amounts.

Common differences include:

  • Main-stat and Attack Power scaling
  • Whether the class benefits from a cooldown-reduction hat
  • Secondary and emblem potentials
  • Legion and Link Skill development
  • HEXA Stats and skill levels
  • Symbols and Sacred Power
  • Oz ring type and level
  • Titles and active event buffs

Treat the 100K example as a budgeting reference, not a single build that guarantees the same score on every class or server.

The main equipment categories

Components of a Korean 100K converted-stat equipment example

Balance the complete setup. Spending too much on one item can leave another slot or progression system unfinished.

Eternal armor

Armor can take a substantial share of an endgame Korean budget. The target state of hat, top, bottom, shoulder, gloves, cape, and shoes changes the total.

The source's example checkpoints include:

  • 22-star hat, top, and bottom
  • Roughly 30–33% main-stat main Potential
  • At least two useful Bonus Potential lines
  • A cooldown-reduction hat where the class benefits
  • Other Eternal pieces starting around 18 stars

Making every piece 22-star with Legendary main and Bonus Potential immediately raises the cost considerably. Developing core pieces first and the rest in stages is one possible path, not a score guarantee.

Pitched Boss accessories

These can be among the largest costs in the proposed setup.

Items discussed include:

  • Berserked
  • Magic Eyepatch
  • Dreamy Belt
  • Commanding Force Earring
  • Endless Terror
  • Source of Suffering
  • Genesis Badge
  • Mitra's Rage

Stars, potentials, bonus stats, scrolling, and remaining trade opportunities all affect price where applicable. The source describes differences of tens of billions of mesos between superficially similar 22-star items. Check actual regional restrictions instead of assuming every listed item is tradeable or enhanceable in the same ways.

Guardian Angel Ring, Daybreak Pendant, and Meister Ring

The Korean source considers these possible value options alongside the more expensive pieces.

Its comparison examples use:

  • 22–23 stars
  • 30–33% main-stat main Potential
  • At least two useful Bonus Potential lines
  • Usable bonus stats and scrolling, where the item supports them

Some items may have a smaller listing-price gap between 22 and 23 stars than Pitched equipment. Compare real candidates rather than assuming that gap is consistent across every market.

How much does the example cost?

Comparing complete item options and historical Korean gear estimates

The source describes this as a very expensive Korean setup, with a reference budget around one trillion mesos.

Its cited high-investment examples total roughly 1.0–1.1 trillion including gear and character-bound growth. Different star levels, potentials, and existing progress change that substantially. This is not an independently priced shopping basket or a GMS budget.

Trade-enabled equipment costs

Equipment available through the relevant Auction House is one part of the budget.

Separate these categories:

  • Eternal armor
  • Pitched accessories
  • Guardian Angel Ring, Meister Ring, and Daybreak Pendant
  • Secondary weapon
  • Emblem or Mitra's Rage, subject to acquisition and trade restrictions
  • Oz rings
  • Item Drop Rate and Meso Obtained equipment

One source example allocates about 220 billion to three core 22-star Eternal pieces, 130 billion to additional Eternal slots, and 330 billion to six 22-star Pitched pieces. Other accessories and weapon-related spending add to those amounts. Retain them as that example's assumptions rather than live prices.

Character-bound progression

Unlike an eligible item you might later resell, these can involve resources committed to the character:

  • Sol Erda Fragments
  • HEXA Stats
  • HEXA skills
  • Sacred Symbol upgrades
  • Genesis Badge and other restricted boss rewards, according to the region's rules
  • Vac pets and pet equipment
  • V Matrix development
  • Legion development

Existing HEXA and symbols can reduce the remaining work. A new character needs a separate plan for those systems. Their listed meso equivalent does not mean every resource can simply be bought or later recovered on every world.

How to compare equipment prices

The cheapest listing is only useful if its lines, enhancements, and restrictions fit the intended role.

Do not buy from star count alone

A 23-star item is not automatically the better upgrade. A stronger 22-star potential or scroll result can be more useful at the same total cost.

Where Guardian Angel or Meister Ring candidates have a modest 22-to-23-star price gap, compare both rather than assuming the higher one is always excessive.

Review both sets of potential lines

The Korean build uses main and Bonus Potential together. A strong main roll with poor Bonus Potential may still need costly work.

Check:

  • Total useful main-stat lines
  • Useful main-stat and Attack Power Bonus Potential
  • The class's value from All Stats
  • Useful cooldown reduction
  • Boss Damage and Ignore Enemy Defense on weapon-related potentials
  • Whether a seemingly high-tier roll contains unwanted lines

A cheap item with little useful improvement can become a purchase you soon have to replace.

Review bonus stats and scrolling

Compare usable bonus stats with strong potentials rather than automatically paying a premium for the highest bonus-stat roll.

Attack-focused scroll work, Spell Traces, and Incredible Chaos Scroll work are not interchangeable. Check the stats actually gained by scrolling and the systems available on your world.

Read the remaining trade count

For items governed by Scissors of Karma limits, fewer remaining trades can reduce flexibility and resale value. That restriction must be checked on the specific item.

A low-trade-count item may suit a long-term final piece at a suitable price. A bridge item you intend to sell later needs a different comparison.

Building a more manageable budget

Budgeting equipment and character-bound progression separately

Not every slot needs its final enhancement state at once.

Compare finished items before self-enhancing

Doing Star Force, potentials, bonus stats, and scrolls yourself can vary widely in cost. An average estimate is not a spending cap.

Where trading is available, compare a suitable finished item with the complete expected work on an unfinished one. Heroic requires its own acquisition plan.

Replace the slot with the most useful improvement

Enter your current item and the actual candidate into the same calculator, then compare the resulting setup.

A useful review order is:

  1. Weapon, secondary, and emblem
  2. The weakest existing slots
  3. Core Eternal armor
  4. Guardian Angel Ring, Daybreak Pendant, and Meister Ring
  5. Pitched accessories
  6. Oz rings and HEXA
  7. Fine adjustments to bonus stats and scrolling

Use improvement per resource spent rather than item prestige to choose between candidates. The order is a review framework, not a universal optimization result.

Use confirmed event benefits

An applicable enhancement event can reduce some costs. It does not make self-enhancing every item the right answer.

Compare finished prices and the full enhancement plan, including a failed-attempt allowance you can afford.

Before committing to a 100K target

Check these inputs first:

  • The gap between the current and target score
  • Class-specific equipment needs
  • Cooldown-hat usefulness
  • Actual regional listings where trading exists
  • HEXA skills and HEXA Stats
  • Sacred Symbol progress
  • Legion and Links
  • The improvement from each candidate
  • Tradeable equipment versus character-bound costs
  • Realistic resale restrictions and losses

A build that raises a score is not necessarily the build that improves the target boss most. Include Boss Damage, Ignore Enemy Defense, rings, and your class's actual damage timing in the final decision.
