Korean pre-raid build checklist · About these guides
Belgardin’s published requirements are Normal 1750, Hard 1770, and Nightmare 1780, with initial Epic Vambraces from the first Gate 2 clear. This checklist comes from the Korean preparation guide; North America’s October 21 release also supplies current entry and quest requirements.
Before another honing or skill-gem purchase, check whether what you already own is configured correctly.
The review may reveal useful changes without a large purchase. Not every account will have a missing upgrade.
Check Ark Grid placement and active effects

Start with the Core and Astrogem arrangement.
The same inventory can produce different effects depending on placement, Willpower, and points.
Auto-equip’s score should not override the essential effects of the intended build.
Check these details.
- Are required Core effects active?
- Are points going to effects the build does not use?
- Do Order and Chaos Astrogems match the Cores? Destiny is an effect/activation concept, not an assumed third Gem category.
- Can an equivalent useful arrangement cost less?
- Would processing or a reset address an actual gap?
Rearranging owned items can sometimes help without buying another Gem. Check applicable costs and restrictions before treating a change as free.
Choose skill gems by the skill and rotation
Equal levels everywhere are not automatically optimal.
A concentrated-damage build may prioritize one damage gem; another needs cooldown alignment. Compare the effect on the working rotation.
Review these questions.
- Which skills contribute in the encounter?
- Would the cooldown change create another useful cast?
- What does the next level cost for that gain?
- Are shared gems equipped and assigned correctly?
Combat Power and practical damage can change by different amounts.
Check engravings and accessories
Verify the applied build before replacing an item.
Preset changes can leave unintended engravings or equipment. Review what is active rather than assuming the previous configuration is applied.
Check actual sources of Crit, Specialization, and Swiftness. Tier 4 accessories should not be assumed to allocate combat stats in the same way as older equipment.
Before purchasing quality, review these details.
- Active combat engravings and levels
- Accessory effects and passive-point contribution
- Bracelet effects relevant to the build
- Actual Crit Rate and applicable conditional effects
- Equipment and engravings stored in each preset
Cards and horizontal progression

Review equipped effects, collection bonuses, and awakening progress separately.
Existing Card XP and Silver may enable an improvement. Creature-type damage only helps a matching target; demon-damage collection should not automatically be assumed effective against Belgardin.
Check skill points, runes, and active Tripods. A roster-owned rune is not consumed by or necessarily unavailable because of another character’s preset.
Tripods and skill presets
Changing skills after a patch does not ensure the intended Tripods are active. Use the current system rather than an obsolete Tripod storage interface.
Missing a relevant learned or selected Tripod can affect execution despite an appropriate gear score.
In the training room, review:
- Main-skill Tripods and levels
- Counter and Stagger tools
- Applicable Weak Point options where required
- Mana and resource stability
- A repeatable encounter rotation
A usable setup leaving attention for new patterns can be more practical than a short ideal DPS sample. This is a preparation principle, not a measured claim about one build.
