Scary Coffins is a community event where players worldwide complete quests and vote on which coffin to open. Alongside that shared choice, you can make personal predictions about each coffin’s contents.
First remember that voting for a coffin and predicting its reward are different features. Votes determine the community’s next opening; predictions guess the contents. Correct predictions can earn Chaos Drops, so do not leave after voting without checking your guesses.
There are 24 coffins, but the event opens 12, including two on the last day. You do not receive the entire reward pool, making the clues relevant to your choices.
The basic flow is simple: contribute quests, enter personal predictions, and vote for a coffin. The displayed vote share is not a reward probability.
How to Join and Vote

Start With the Event Board
Open the Scary Coffins icon in the lobby. Before selecting a coffin, inspect its number, artwork, and headstone clues.
Follow this sequence:
- Complete quests — Contribute normal quest completions to the global target.
- Compare coffins and headstones — Check patterns, props, and short phrases together.
- Predict the rewards — Use the square beneath a coffin to select its expected contents.
- Vote for the coffin you want opened — Select it and complete the confirmation.
- Check the reveal — Review the contents, your prediction result, and the reward instructions.
The reported daily community target is 100 million completed quests. That is a worldwide total, not an individual requirement. Your normal quests contribute toward it.
Vote Versus Prediction
| Category | Coffin Vote | Personal Prediction |
|---|---|---|
| Purpose | Choose what opens next | Guess each coffin’s contents |
| Input | Select a coffin and confirm the vote | Select a reward in its prediction square |
| Result | Contribute to the community’s opening choice | Qualify for a Chaos Drop if correct |
| Check | Your selected coffin before final submission | Predictions under other coffins too |
Wanting coffin A opened does not stop you from predicting the contents of others. Vote for your preferred opening and fill the remaining prediction squares separately.
Read the Percentage and Countdown Correctly
The percentage shown after voting is the community vote share. It is not the probability of a particular reward or a valuable item. Popularity does not confirm unrevealed contents.
Prediction edits and vote changes are also different. Being able to change a guess does not establish that a submitted vote can be changed freely. Compare the coffins before final confirmation.
Use the event countdown for the next round and read the participation and claim conditions. Limited-time availability makes those deadlines relevant.
Rewards and Free-Item Conditions

From Gravestone Griff to an Ultra Chaos Drop
Candidates include progression resources, cosmetics, drops, boxes, and special activities. Separate the categories when deciding what you want the community to open.
| Category | Examples | Condition to Check |
|---|---|---|
| Drops and boxes | A splittable Ultra Chaos Drop; Ultra Trophy Box | Whether the corresponding coffin opens |
| Upgrades and cosmetics | A Buffie; Gravestone Griff | The selected coffin and its delivery instructions |
| Small resource rewards | Seven Coins, one Gem, or one XP Doubler | The exact name and quantity |
| Special activities | Boss Fight with rewards; Vince event and two Vince Boxes | Whether additional play or participation is required |
| Novelty reveal | Melodie’s secret tattoo reveal | An outcome distinct from account progression |
These are examples of possible coffin contents, not a list of items awarded just for logging in. A free skin or Buffie depends on the relevant coffin and reward conditions.
Compare cosmetic clues if you want a skin, or resource-related clues if you prioritize progression. A symbol may suggest a category without revealing its quantity.
Do 12 Openings Guarantee 12 High-Value Rewards?
No. Twelve of 24 coffins open, and small resources or novelty reveals are among the possibilities. The number of openings is not the number of high-value items guaranteed.
Elaborate decoration does not ensure a valuable reward. Compare the clue with candidates and use revealed results to narrow the remaining options.
Personal Predictions Can Earn Chaos Drops
Separately from the community vote, correctly predicting a coffin’s contents can earn a Chaos Drop. Choosing what everyone opens and guessing its contents are different challenges.
Check the prediction square before the reveal. Selecting the right answer afterward does not count as an earlier correct prediction.
After opening, follow any claim or participation instructions. A direct item reward and an activity such as Boss Fight may require different steps.
Prediction Tips and FAQ

Read the Coffin and Headstone Together
Compare the lid with its headstone, colors, props, and text. That gives your guess an explainable basis.
But appearance is a clue, not an answer key. Some designs can point you toward the wrong reward. A lock does not prove valuable contents, and plain artwork does not prove a small reward.
Use this checklist:
- Observe — Identify the symbols and text actually present.
- Connect — Find reward candidates that fit them.
- Challenge — Consider whether another candidate fits too.
- Verify — Compare your guess with the reveal afterward.
This lets you assess recommended numbers by their reasoning rather than popularity. Ask which feature connects to which reward.
Can I Trust a Numbered Answer Chart?
Online charts can mix confirmed results with personal guesses. Treat unrevealed-coffin entries as predictions and separate them from actual results.
Check opened coffins in your own event screen and reassess unopened ones as new results appear. Confidence in a post does not confirm its answer.
Does One Wrong Guess End My Participation?
No. Review remaining coffins and newly available information in later rounds. The client shows which predictions are still editable.
That does not mean you can revise a revealed coffin retroactively for extra rewards. Focus on unopened coffins.
Is the Social Giveaway a Separate Reward?
Yes. A giveaway asking you to share a vote or prediction screenshot and explain your reasoning is separate from the in-game prediction bonus. Sharing does not guarantee Chaos Drops to every participant.
Read the official giveaway’s entry channel, closing time, number of winners, and reward amount. Include any required details such as #BrawlStars and #ScaryCoffins when applicable.
What Should I Check Each Session?
Complete quests → check the timer → compare clues → review predictions → confirm the vote → check reveals is a useful sequence.
Scary Coffins combines a community opening choice with personal guesses. Keep candidates and eligibility separate, and submit predictions before a reveal to preserve your chance at the additional reward.
Regional and version notes
This article preserves the original October 2026 event snapshot rather than providing a live answer board.
