The Lab in the Find Gus event is a puzzle involving Belle’s weapon, colored chemicals, and bringing Piper back to life. After completing it, the supplied walkthrough returns to the hallway with the weapon to collect 100 Power Points and a Starr Drop.
The route is assemble weapon → first color set → assemble Piper → activate generators → second color set → final generator sequence → hallway rewards. Number the generators 1–4 from left to right, and follow the sequence displayed in your own game.
Unlocking and Entering the Lab
The source unlocks the Lab after earlier rooms and three additional battle wins. Check your event screen’s requirement, complete the necessary wins, and enter the room.
The right-hand workbench, four central experiment chambers, and left-hand operating table form the puzzle route. Mix chemicals, open chambers to recover Piper’s parts, and assemble them on the table.
Assemble Belle’s Weapon
Find Three Parts Around the Right-Hand Desk
Check the white device marked with an X on the desk’s left, the electrical device with a red sphere on the right, and the desk drawer.
Drag one part onto another, then attach the third. Tap the completed weapon to put it in your inventory for later steps.
Light the Burner Under the Beaker
Select the weapon in your inventory and use it on the burner. Once the mixing apparatus works, use the red, yellow, blue, white, and black bottles on the desk.
The weapon also shocks the experiment chambers. A correct color alone will not open a chamber if you skip that interaction.
First Color Recipes
Mix two colors in this stage. Match each chamber’s upper indicator and place the mixture in its lower inlet.
|
Chamber |
Target Color |
Recipe |
|---|---|---|
|
1, far left |
Orange |
Red + yellow |
|
2 |
Green |
Yellow + blue |
|
3 |
Purple |
Red + blue |
|
4, far right |
Pink |
Red + white |
Add the two colors to the beaker, then tap it again. Drag the small container of mixed liquid to the matching chamber inlet. Select the weapon and use it on that chamber to open it.
Repeat for all four. Remember the full sequence: mix → collect mixture → fill inlet → use weapon, so you do not omit a step.
If You Mix the Wrong Color
Empty the incorrect mixture and start again rather than continually adding ingredients. In the supplied video, the player discards the wrong container by dragging it toward the chamber area, then remixes. Compare the new result with the current chamber’s indicator.
Assemble Piper and Read the First Generator Sequence
Move Piper’s head, arms, legs, and remaining body section from the chambers to the operating table. With all four parts placed, the game gives a shock sequence.
The supplied video’s first sequence is 4 → 1 → 3 → 2: select the weapon and activate far right, far left, third from left, then second from left.
Other playthroughs show different sequences. Follow the dialogue in your own game instead of memorizing the video’s numbers. If you missed it, try Belle or the operating table to review the instruction.
Second Color Recipes
After the first generator step, the chambers close and their upper indicators change. This time each mixture uses three colors.
|
Chamber |
Target Color |
Recipe |
|---|---|---|
|
1, far left |
Peach |
Red + yellow + white |
|
2 |
Dark green |
Yellow + blue + black |
|
3 |
Light purple |
Red + blue + white |
|
4, far right |
Blue-gray |
Blue + white + black |
As before, make and collect the mixture, fill its chamber, then use the weapon. The final recipe requires three colors, including blue, not just white and black.
Final Generator Sequence and Lab Reward
Completing the second color set triggers another sequence. The video’s final example is 2 → 3 → 4 → 1, but your screen’s instructions take priority here too.
Shock the generators in the displayed order to wake Piper and finish the main puzzle. Complete the dialogue and claim the reward; the supplied video shows one Chaos Drop for clearing the Lab.
Hidden Hallway Safe: 100 Power Points
The Lab weapon also works in the hallway. Leave through the event map and revisit that room after the Lab.
Set the Radio to Channel 10
Use the weapon on the hallway radio to extend the dial to channel 10. Use its arrows to select 10; after the scene, a hidden safe appears at the right-hand cupboard.
Safe Corner Colors
Set the four corners as follows:
|
Position |
Color |
|---|---|
|
Top left |
Red |
|
Top right |
Yellow |
|
Bottom left |
Purple |
|
Bottom right |
White |
The correct arrangement opens the safe for 100 Power Points. Check the rows separately if needed: red/yellow above, purple/white below.
Hallway Clock: 3:00 and a Starr Drop
The second hallway reward uses both the clock and candle.
-
Use the triangular buttons beneath the clock to move its hands.
-
Set the hour hand to 3 and the minute hand to 12.
-
Use the weapon to light the candle to the clock’s right.
-
Tap the lit candle once more.
-
Open the clock and collect the Starr Drop inside.
In the video, the left button moves the minute hand and the right moves the hour hand. Setting only the clock or stopping after lighting the candle is insufficient. Complete 3:00 → light candle → tap candle again.
Lab Troubleshooting
The Color Is Right, but the Chamber Will Not Open
Check whether the mixture reached the chamber inlet, not merely the beaker. Then select the weapon and shock that same chamber.
I Cannot Add Three Colors
You may still be in the first stage. Open all four chambers with two-color mixtures, place Piper’s parts on the table, and finish the first generator sequence.
The Generator Numbers Do Not Work
Count 1–4 from left to right and reread the game’s instruction. If your displayed sequence differs from the video, use yours.
The Hallway Reward Does Not Appear
First check that the weapon is in your inventory. Use it on the radio before selecting channel 10. For the clock, set exactly 3:00, light the candle, and tap the lit candle again.
Keep the two color stages separate and follow your displayed generator order. Once the Lab is complete, revisit the hallway for the safe and clock rewards if the event remains available in your client.
Regional and version notes
The puzzle route and rewards describe the supplied Find Gus playthrough. Generator numbers are illustrative; your game’s dialogue takes priority. The official August notes establish the broader staged Brawl-O-Ween story, not a complete Lab solution. Availability of an earlier event room must be checked in your client.
